Regina places number one in population growth, a seismic change from last year’s rankings, when it finished a paltry 116 out of 180 surveyed cities. In the process, Regina has bolted up 18 spots on our annual list. Like last year, the city enjoys a low unemployment rate, which is credit to the area’s oil and natural gas, potash, and agricultural sectors.
